Why all the pink?

Thank you the font looks bolder and is easier to read x

I’m fine with pink as a colour I sometimes choose to wear. For me, it’s about the wider question of why pink was chosen to represent breast cancer in the first place, and what that may say about the social construct of gender and ā€˜femininity’, etc.

But I accept I’m in the minority lol!

Quite. My thoughts exactly.

I have a couple of dayglo pink running tops (event finisher tops) but wouldn’t otherwise choose it as a colour.

I’ve gotta say after watching the Breast Cancer Now podcast episode with the charity’s CEO, Claire Rowney, I’m all for the pink. She explains the reasoning behind choosing it and it completely reframed the whole thing for me.
