Wig advice

Hi all
Ive just got a wig similar to my natural hair colour but highlighted that im happy with provided with the wig voucher. Not lost my hair yet but only had 1 chemo session. I’m just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere that sells brightly coloured wigs, obviously im aware that id have to pay but ive spent the last few years with brightly dyed hair and I’d like to research the option of having bright coloured hair at times. Im going to be on chemo for the next 5 months so might fancy a change

Lula Bellz do fashion wigs. I had a few & they wore well.

I used Valentine’s Wigs (online, shop in Preston) to buy 2 blue rooted silver wigs in different styles. Very similar to the blue rooted platinum that I had in the summer before my diagnosis.

They were brilliant and now I keep my hair in a short pixie with steel toner over dark roots, my friends tell me I really ought to dig them out and wear them for even more sass!

Hi
I used Valentine wigs. I have had blonde hair all my life. My hair has now grown back and is quite long as it is now 3yrs on, but I still enjoy wearing my wigs, I have a rooted pink one and also a rooted lilac one. I also love wearing my pixie cut ones. With valentine wigs they allow you to send them back if they dont suit you.

I use Natural Image online. I’m lucky that they have a studio above my local John Lewis as well. I’ve had so many compliments and feel very confident wearing them.

Take a look at hair weavon online. Some of the renee of paris styles come in fashion colours. Got totally ripped off by a wig specialist before i went here. Good prices. Huge selection. Its also worth looking at youtube videos of wigs you have shortlisted to get an idea of construction and how they fit.

Finally if you want to dye a synthetic wig yourself you will need to use synthetic dye and boil the wig, so fibres should be able to take heat. Rit dye do a synthetuc dye available in craft shops and on amazon. I did dye a fringe from les franjynes this way. It was fine for a while but the boiling was too harsh on the fibres in all honesty.
