WLE and biopsy operation on Tuesday ,but i have a sore throat.

Hi Ladies, have been waiting to have my op for 7 weeks but today i have a sore throat and a start of a cold i think.If my op doesn’t go ahead i think i will go mad ,after all this time waiting!I am due to have the Radio active injection on Monday ready for a fine wire WLE  and lymph node biopsy op on Tuesday.Has any one had this op while suffering a cold, even if it is just a head cold.I can’t bear the thought of my op being delayed.Love Ellies

I had a cold when I had my op and another one 5 weeks later when I commenced chemo…

 

I was most worried my chemo would be delayed because of decreased white blood count…but it went ahead

 

I am sure they will still go ahead.

 

Take everything to get rid of the cold now…drink lots too
