I have a Hickman it gets put in on a Thursday as a day case, under local.
District nurses come weekly to take bloods and clean it, to be honest I prefer it cos no needles or probs getting blood etc etc
I was told when i was DX that i will need RADS and Tamoxifen but they don’t know about the chemo untill they look at my results but im guessing i will as reading the forums most people do.
Already had my hair cut short to prepare myself. When having chemo when do you start feeling the effects? I have small children so will need to plan very carefully before hand. Is fatigue the main problem??

if its thursday i wonder if i can still have my chemo on friday??

Which onc are you under? I had my Hickman in on Thursday and chemo the next day Friday
I’d give Rowan a ring tomorrow about 10.00 to see if they have got you in? You are at Worcs royal aren’t you?
