Hello I am new on here. I was dx with breast cancer stage 2, 1 lymphnode affected in 2005. I had 6 lots of fec, 5 years tamoxifen and am now on aromasin. I am really worried as I have had rib pain on opposite side to mx. Went to gp who sent me for chest xray, blood tests and bone scan. Bone scan showed up as hot spot on rib which they believe is a fracture yet didntshow on chest xray, so this test will be repeated tomorrow. Pain has eased yet now feels like a sore, sensitive, digging feeling in ribs which is now affecting other side. This is a new pain and I am very worried

Hi Deb, i hope you received good news and that it was nothing to worry about.
I had a similar experience whereas the x-ray did not show anything, the bone scan showed a hot spot. Diagnosis was finaly made after a MRI.

Hi Vercors thanks for replying, I am waiting to have a chest ct scan which is being done on Monday. Just hate all the waiting, this has been going on since January, hopefully nothing to worry about. Hope that you are keeping well
