Hi, I am discovered a long lump in right side of breast; in two week quick referral and terrified.
I was wondering if coming off the pill would have anything to do with me noticing this lump? Any advice would be good!
Thanks
Emma

Hi Emma,
Anyway, you’re getting it properly checked out, which is great, although inevitably anxiety goes with the territory somewhat.
Of all the things it could be, bc is the Least likely & as you say, it could well be related to the pill, mostly these things are hormone related.
What can help with waiting, is to keep yourself busy & to carry on as normal.
Do come back & let us know how you get on if you want to, the vast majority of the women here who post with similar symptoms to you, report the all clear.

Wishing you all the best-remember you have made the first positive step by getting it checked out and the second post step by coming on this forum.
Try to not think ahead too much(I have been there-it is not easy)by taking it a day at a time.It will get sorted and you will get help to deal with whatever it is-and the help on here is amazing for every situation.
Try to keep busy and distracted-do as much "normally " as you can(read/watch Tv/clean the house,do whatever)!
If you start to panic and your mind runs away with you-post a question on here-It really helped me anytime of the day and night-reading through the forums were such a big help,
The most important thing is for you to know that whatever your problem turns out to be,you are not alone and and you are taking the first steps to deal with it and it will get sorted!
Sending love and hugs and wishing you all the very best XX
