I have a family history of breast cancer and I was diagnosed last year with cancer of the womb. At the time of diagnosis I was told that breast cancer can travel up or down and I was relieved it had travelled down and following a hysterectomy I was given the all clear in October. I have since gone back for a check up this year and discussed suffering from headaches and sickness in the morning and blurred vision in one eye and have been asked to seek further advice. I have seen an optician who couldn’t find anything other than elevated pressures, so has referred me to a specialist. All along I have tried to express an urgency as I was told if nothing was found I would need a brain scan. I saw the optician weeks ago and only just received an appointment for the specialist in a months time. I am really worried that there may be cancer elsewhere.
