I seem to have various men floating in and out of the room and one unfortunately is quite good looking and very cheery. Has anyone checked the web to make sure our pics arent in cyberspace and changing hands for a few roubles. I’ve got another 23 sessions of my boobs out , afraid that how I view it.
I had one session where I was zapped to the theme from Star Wars followed by getting dressed to “The Self Preservation Society” from the Italian Job.
The following day it was Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made for Walking” as I was getting undressed. I told the two young and rather camp male radiographers it was a song about sado masochism and they said they would never be able to listen to it in the same light again…
Despite practically PMS laughing at your thread, the music sounds really, really scary to an old punk like me. Gonna donate some of hubby’s CDs (CD’s he made, not from his collection he bought!) when I start…surely I can’t be the only punk with BC? Take care and keep your chins up. It will be over soon.
Hi all
How about should I stay or should I go by the Clash

Bodies - the Sex Pistols
Leave me alone - Sham 69
Knowing my luck, I’ll get Celine Dion!
Had 'The final countdown 'today Again !!
also a number by crowded house , very appropriate - with the room operating like a tube station
Me again , must be my radotherapy unit has a tape full of it . Today I had ‘three steps to Heaven’
Bumping this up cos it is such a great thread, and also I want to say that my music today was “Heatwave” as the rads buzzed in. I giggled and remarked on this when they returned…sadly no-one else in the room “got” the joke.

Can’t say i can remember the music played today as was being manhandled by 3 male radiographers - tends to take your mind off things!!! Makes you wonder though if it puts them off boobs for life or, at the very least, seriously traumatises them . . . . . . .
Have to say i couldn’t get Brintey’s “toxic” out of my brain during last chemo! Kept singing it to OH when he got close to me

I think music is such a personal choice and open to too much interpretation and people are much more sensitive during treatment and maybe read too much into the choice of songs - I don’t normally have music for some reason but they had some on this morning and it was what i call “supermarket music” or “elevator music” just incredibly bland stuff from the 80s.
In this day and age there are so many CDs available that are things like Essential Chill, and have no lyrics and I think these would be ideal, but not everyone knows about them.
I had “bye bye baby” by the Bay City Rollers!!
