Wound not healing following mastectomy

I’m 2 weeks post mastectomy & fitting of an expander. I’ve been to the wound clinic, and it seems the wound isn’t healing. The bottom layer of skin seems ok, but the top layer is black & dying off. I’ve had Pico dressings on it since the op, but it doesn’t seem to have helped with some of the healing.

I had radiotherapy 15 years ago, so it’s probably down to that.

Has anyone else had this happen?
