Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I have had a mastetomy (plus 2 unwanted hematomas!) and am recovering well. My chemo starts in two weeks time. I have descovered that I love writing and just wanted to share my thoughts with anyone who wants to. My blog can be found at www.lucyonleave.com. I need to warn you that it is very sweary and not for the faint hearted but my friends and family say it makes them laugh more than anything. Comments welcomed!
This is just brilliant Lucy, just at home recovering from mx and node clearance and laughing out loud! Going to share your blog in another thread, too. Thank you!

I can’t work out how to follow it :-(… it’s great by the way x
Hi Lucy, I’ve just read and dried with laughter at your blog. Your top 10 tips on getting your kids to school had me howling, as did the sorry state of affairs with the closed veins. Tears of laughter I figure better than of sadness, I’m starting chemo on 6 April and am looking for as many light hearted ways to take the new level of hell as possible. Thanks, you really have made me smile xx
Hi there, my blog has been turned into a book now! You can buy it or down load it onto kindle via Amazon. Just search Lucy on Leave x
