A big thank you to all of you ladies for your support, My treatment was re instated on Wednesday.
I went for my treatment yesterday, had it plus booked in today for ECG and Chest scan, as should have had these but were canceled due to treatment being canceled.
Not sure how long it will last but we were able to find a lovely admin lady who fiddled around dates etc, to get my treatment! She herself was horrified that it had been stopped.
I am now able to sit back and take a breather, but we will however still be moving back to the UK in the near future, can’t risk this happening again.
Thanks again for all your support and offers of a room etc.
I am Sooo happy about your news, Teresa! I have read your recent posts with horror, to think you could be going through this nightmare of a disease like the rest of us, BUT to be then told “No more treatment”, was absolutely inhuman!
Hope all else goes well for you,
Hugs,
Heather.xx
Fanbloodytastic news!!! Is it worth registering with a gp over here now as a temporary patient on your quest to establish your 3 months residency prior to treatment status?
Thank goodness and a huge Thank You to the admin Lady who fiddled your dates!
So pleased for you and long may the treatment continue.
Safe journey back to the UK when you do move!
Love & Hugs
Helen xx
Theresa This is fab fab news and what a relief. I was going to suggest something but see that Vicki ( Tors) has done this. You may find that they ( the GP surgery) need to know your med history at the registration but this should not be a prob. PM if you need to Jackie xx
Wonderful news.
You must be exhausted by all this struggle recently, so I hope you can slowly believe…and relax gradually that you’re going to be looked after at last.
You deserve it!
Let’s hope you can have more and more good nights of sleep.
