Hi Folks
Well at last I have finished the treatment almost to the day I was dx. It has been a long year.
During this year I have made friends with the bathroom and floor, had pneumonia, been neutropinic, have an embolism, learnt to inject myself, still taking warfarin, have new hair and extra long eyelashes and have new skin growing where I have been burnt with the 6 weeks of RT. Lost 2 stone and put on 1 stone.
It has been quite an experience and during this time I have learnt new words and more especially how to spell them.
Being HER2 negative means that I have no further treatment and today I have been lost as I am so used to going to hospital every day for one and a half mins of treatment.
Today is the start of a my new life and to all those beginning the trip, hang in there.
Thank you for all the support I have received and lots of cyber hugs.
WOOHOO!!!
A whole new world for you now. So pleased you’re at the end of the rocky road. All the very, very best for your future.
