Yoga with osteopenia

Hi. I had a lumpectomy for lobular cancer and had radiotherapy. I am on Anasteozole. I’m 57. I finished radiotherapy 4 months ago. I have been put into calcium tablets after bone scan results although my diet already includes recommended amount of calcium and vit D. By hips are fine but have been told I have osteopenia in my spine.
I used to do yoga when I was younger and would like to start again (it might help with my sleep issues). Does anyone know of a DVD for yoga that is suitable for osteopenia as I understand that some poses are not suitable for me.
I live in quite a rural area and so I don’t think I would be able to find any local yoga classes that would fit the bill .
Thank you

Hi
Try the Penny Brohn website as they have loys of on line classes, face to face stuff and retreats and its gor all manner of shapes, sizes abilities etc

I do yoga and tai chi using their on line courses and they adapt for people’s mobility

Good luck

Thank you for the info re:Penny Brohn. I recently did an online sleep session with them.
As I now work full time, I am unable to do any of their sessions which are during the week. I couldn’t see any yoga session.

I was hoping someone could recommend a dcd or YouTube channel

Penny Brohn have a you tube channel which includes some recorded gentle yoga. They can be found at ‘Movement PBUK’
