If you are aged between 20 and 45 and have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, this two-day residential programme offers the opportunity to learn more about breast cancer and to meet young women in a similar situation.
It’s a chance to meet others of a similar age and share experiences in a relaxed environment and meet your local Breast Cancer Care team.
There will be a range of guest speakers on topics such as fertility after treatment, sexuality and intimacy, lymphoedema, diet and exercise as well as pampering, well-being sessions and discussion groups.
All costs of accommodation and meals are met by Breast Cancer Care. This event is open to anyone with breast cancer aged 45 or under living in the UK. I am on the Blackburn forum and have read that there are places available. I think that as a post it hould be posted daily to make more people aware. I was made aware by some one who had been on one not by the web site. Hope this helps. Thanks Missi

Unfortunately I have had to change my Herceptin dates (due to going on holiday) so I now will not be able to make it to the forum. Am quite disappointed as I would have loved to make and meet new friends. Please tell me which were the best talk sessions to go to.
