Morning

My chemo has now finished ???. I am 5 days into my last lot of Zarzio injections, just wondered if anyone has ever reduced their injections from 7 to 5? The reason I am asking is I’m sure (I could be wrong) they are what causes my stomach cramps and diarrhoea, my last injection would be Xmas Eve and really don’t want a bad stomach on Xmas Day. I mentioned it to my oncologist and he thought 5 would be ok but am a bit nervous about what might happen if I don’t have 7. It’s taken months to mention these cramps to the Dr and he told me to take Buscopan Cramps, they seem to help. Why didn’t I ask months ago? What a muppet ???

If your Onco has said its fine, then it must be fine, I know that some people have only been given 5 days anyway. I had the injections changed for my last 2 chemo’s as those combined with the docetaxel gave me horrendous joint pain so was given the single dose inections - they are slightly more expensive hence not the first option given.

 

Well done for finishing your chemo, I almost 9 weeks from my last one and yesterday I discovered that I have some baby eyelashes, I have an even covering of hair but still no eyebrows!!
