Zoladex Injection

Hello - Please explain / clarify.

I started on monthly Zoladex injections with Letrozole. Once we knew I could handle both the zoladex injection went from monthly to quarterly.

My last quarterly zoladex injection was Jan 2025 - the nurse giving it (a nurse i’d not had yet but older in age) at my Dr’s said that it’s only just being made available for ladies to have quarterly

This has worried me & wondered whether to go back onto monthly??

Is it true it was only recently approved quarterly for ladies & if so when?

Ive been having it quarterly for over a year now. I started with monthly then switched to quarterly.
For me its just more convenient. Ive got no further side affects or issues.
Im also on letrozole.
Might be worth speaking to the nurse to see why your area has only just started this so try to alleviate any fears.
