Going through breast cancer treatment Hormone therapy

I had my first Zoladex injection 2 weeks ago and I’m regularly feeling like I’ve had a intense session at the gym or run a marathon. The pain in the muscles in my legs is unbearable at times, I’m struggling to climb stairs or walk short distances. I want to know if this pain continues and what I can do to lessen the side effects.

I’ve been having Zoladex injections since March 2017.  The first few times after having the injection I felt almost like I had flu.  However for me this eased after about 4 or 5 jabs and now I just feel a bit tired the same day and then don’t seem to have any symptoms.

 

Good luck and i hope your symptoms ease soon.  Maybe talk to your oncologist or even GP to tell them how you are feeling?

Thanks for that MM, I will definitely talk to my oncologist. Not sure I can bare another 4 / 5 months of this pain it’s quiet debilitating.
