Is this to be expected and is there a point when i need to contact somone?
It’s sounds as though you are having a difficult time at the moment with a high temperature and a number of symptoms which you’re concerned may be linked to the zometa (Zoledronic acid) infusion you received on Tuesday.
Zometa may cause flu like side effects such as those you’ve described but as your symptoms are severe and you have noticed that you’re weeing less than usual it’s important to let your treatment team know how you are feeling. They can properly assess you to tell you if your symptoms are related to zometa and offer advice on what might help manage them. You can also contact 111 for more urgent medical help.
