Re: Painting nails or not

Hi sandraindurham

I've been using a very old Boots cuticle oil and an equally old nail cream I had lying around both over 10 years old I'm afraid. I have spotted a nail cream in Boots, a branded one for around £3.60 and I would probably recommend cream over oil. I understand there is a rather expensive product you can purchase if money is no object, think it is called polybalm, but I am on a very limited budget, so it is not an option for me.

Hi Holeinone, thank you for this. What oil do you recommend? I have been looking into options and not getting anywhere.

Cheers,

Re: Painting nails or not

Hi sandraindurham

I've had three lots of FEC and no nail damage. Now on T and that's the one they advise painting nails to stop UV light accelerating damage. I'm winging it and just using nail cream and cuticle oil twice daily, as I hate having nail varnish on my nails.

Hope that helps xx

Painting nails or not

Hi there, bit confused here. For those only having FEC, should nails be painted in dark colours or not?

And what oils are advised to help?

Thank you
