Re: Having radiotherapy later than normal

Hi Pate1

I had my lumpectomy in July last year but had to have further surgeries due to infection and fat necrosis and had my Radiotherapy 2 - 23 Jan this year so I wouldn't worry about it too much....

Hi Pate,
Well, it is what it is & you now have a date for rads.
I have read somewhere that a few months here or there is unlikely to make any difference.
Good luck with it all

Having radiotherapy later than normal

For some reason I wasn't contacted about when I should have started radiotherapy(after my mx and reconconstruction) and now 4 months later I have been advised to have 15 treatments starting 5th Feb.

Am worried that because of the late start, things have become worse ...does anyone else have experience of this?
