Just to save you all trawling back thru the thread - the picnic is on 19th June at my place, and this one is ONLY for ladies with secondaries. You are welcome to arrive any time from 11 a.m. onwards and stay on as long as you want - so plenty of natter time :). We are about 7m from Gatwick, and 7.5m south of J6/M25. If you need my address and directions please pm me and I can even send you my website so you can get an idea of the surroundings we will be picnic-ing in. Please leave fishing rods at home LOL.
I am not sure what is best solution foodwise. Because of the rotten nature of our disease I know for many it can be a bit iffy. I think perhaps it is better for me to shop for us and wonder if you can make suggestions of what sort of food you would like? If you have expensive taste you could be paying for it 
Plates, cutlery etc. was a lovely idea but I have plenty here so please dont worry.

Dawn, I’m so hoping for a good day so that I can come along to one of your picnics, I would love to meet everyone. Keep your fingers crossed for me, I’m not feeling too bad at the moment, just very tired, but I haven’t started treatment yet. Still waiting for my dates but should be this week, hopefully that’ll mean your picnic falls on one of my good days!

Making sure OH can get day off to look after muppets, as he off on the tuesday too for my herceptin, but dont think be problem.
I will probably leave by 4pm due to the nature of the M25, Clacketts Lane and the Dartford Tunnel - OMG - lets hope for my sake it is clear that day … LOL
Foodwise happy to go with the flow - what sort of food do you normally do Dawn. Have to admit to being slightly fussy LOL …

Katie P where are you? I’m in St Albans. Are you the lady who’s spoken to Wrighty and lives in Welwyn or somewhere near? We met yesterday for coffee at a garden centre.
Sadly I’m thinking I can’t go to this as I go on hols the next morning very early (and 3 kids and 1 husband to organise!). But I might not be able to resist and come at the last minute.

Have been following thread and had not said whether I could come or not as was waiting for a scan date. Of course, the date is 19th so probably won’t be able to make it but if Dawn could let me know where you are so I can see whether it might be feasible to come on after the scan. Also not sure of timing?
