Brilliant news xxx
Thanks Bella,
Youâre quite right⊠itâs nice to feel a softer boob tonight! It goes really tight and hard when it need draining!
My bcn threatened to fit me with a boob stoma bag if it kept leaking!! ⊠I think my boob heard her it promptly dried up and retreated.
Fingers crossed for no more boob humps!!
I feel ok in every other way⊠my lymph site/arm pit is great. Far less troublesome than my actual boob. Thankfully, post âstab ânâ suckâ it almost matches its mate next door tonight. Thatâs the first time it has, so I think Iâm over the worst now.
My mother always said I was an âawkward bleederâ
Hay hoâŠ
How are you doing Bella?
Urgh I had a stoma bag when I had endless seromas after first mastectomy. It was grim!
Iâm fine thanks, much better mentally after meeting with surgeon today. Physically though my underarm is a bit sore/swollen/numb, I keep rubbing it hoping it helps. I think my soft crop tops are irritating my other scar so I do âremove boobageâ and go commando in an oversized T-shirt when Iâm at home. So glamorous
Bxx
Thank you Bella
Thereâs still a way to go but hopefully that will go smoothly.
I do feel a bit guilty that this journey has been easier for me and it was only early breast cancer but if I have learnt anything itâs that you never know whatâs round the corner.
I would love to keep in touch with you ladies if thatâs okay?
C xx
Get âem out girl!! I had to go commando in the first few days post surgery. Primarily because I was so swollen (day 1/2) that even my biggest post surgery bra was no where near meeting in the middle. I found I was better without too and just shuffled around with my hand supporting my boob or else holding a pillow.
Iâm having to wear one right now- surgeons orders but I hate sleeping in the bloody thing!
Have you got a bit of a break now before further treatment?
Iâm due back on the 8th for results but my surgeon said it might be before that. Iâm actually happy to wait until the 8th⊠I could do with a bit of a rest before the madness starts again.
Hope things are getting easier for you
This is one of the funniest conversations I think Iâve ever had about cancer! It just goes to show the strength that us ladies can have when challenged and how we can be there for each other.
I know we have never met but I love looking for updates from you lot and appreciate the soul baring truths from strong ladies like @smak
Hope youâre feeling better now youâre back home and fingers crossed thereâs no more stab and suck
C xx
Please tell me you havenât scared the Amazon delivery man yet whilst going commando
Iâm only wearing a soft bra so as not to scare my poor daughterâs boyfriend and put him off his breakfast first thing in the morning!
Iâve been wearing a crop top type thing from Peacocks but the good boob is slipping down under the elastic now so might have to update it âŠ,.
Will you stop it Alison, everyone in the room is looking at me laughting at yours and Bellaâs comments
Iâm struggling without a bra at night especially when sleeping on my side
I bought a heart pillow from the Cancer Research shop and itâs been a godsend along with the V pillow
Tee hee! You gotta laugh!
Scaring the Amazon delivery man, sounds like a dare to me?? lol!!
What dâya say Bella??
Thatâs fantastic news Charlotte. So pleased for you. Donât you go rushing into Radiotherapy without us !! We are all bonkers boob buddies now xx
Hope the threat works and your boobs remain a matching pair. Think youâve been through enough for now ! X
Well ladies I went out for the first time today since op. I did have a soft bra on and didnât go commando so any Amazon driver I was likely to meet was safe ! Are you ladies driving now ? I havenât yet but am keen to get back on the road. What part of the country do you all live in ? Only asking so I can put your Amazon drivers on high alert. Wishing you a good nights sleep xxxx
Would never do that, I need my bonkers boob buddies
Hi Sheelagh, lovely to hear from you
I was told today that although the wounds have healed I mustnât rush back into doing things. I have to wait another week to drive as I have a manual car. Itâs a couple more weeks for repetitive housework such as hoovering and ironing, what a shame!!
Iâm in Harlow, Essex but canât go commando so my delivery drivers are safe for now
Well done on venturing out, did you look like Napoleon holding on for dear life like us odd booby friends or were you more normal?!?
Hope youâre feeling okay hun
Oooh a dare, please send us updates Alison and Bella
Well done lottie, wishing you well with your treatment going forward.
Health and happiness going forward, take good care.
Hugs Tili
Hey, I need a stern word with you!
- Early breast cancer should never be prefixed with the word âonlyâ and you must not feel guilty, youâre going through all the same emotional and physical pain and itâs tough right?
- Youâre not going anywhere, we bonkers boobs babes are sticking together
We need you Charlotte
And MissW, my radio starts next Monday so Iâll be flashing a radiographer every day for 10 days

On the subject of driving i was told to leave it a week. I was quite surprised at only a week! Anyway i drove yesterday but found it wasnt just the pain and stiffness that effected me, i seemed to have lost a bit of confidence. I was in a lot of pain afterwards so will leave it for now i reckon!
I had lumpectomy and lymph nodes done but was complicated by my previous LD surgery. So its quite painful anyway.
Hope you are all coping with what this blooming treatment throws at you xx
Well said Bella. Us BBBâs need to stick together. Looks like you will be the first to flash for Radiographers . You will have to share your experience with us. Have you far to go to hospital every day ? I imagine it will be quite draining. We will always be here for each other now
