@maria1970 do hope they can sort you out soon so you can get home and feel better. Hugs to everyone having a rough time.
@maria1970 sorry to hear you’re still not good, love. Do hope the IV’s kick in soon, and you get home. Sending love and thinking of you x
I also have the one dose pegfligrastim and a little joint pain day 10&11 of first cycle an none on the second. You could ask for it…
Oh @maria1970 this sounds so hard for you, worrying and exhausting. I do hope it resolves soon and you get back on track xx
Hi, No I haven’t but I’m going to ask them at my next review now that you’ve given me this tip. Thank you XXX
Thank you, I’m going to ask at my next appointment xxx
Unfortunately the Macmillan within my Trust does not do face to face. The nearest one is in Leeds.
Gerbera1 if you are able to get safely to a makeup counter near you and tell the assistant in any counter you need some tips and tricks on applying make up I am sure all of them will be happy to show you how to do this
you could then maybe sign up for a remote one and you should get your goody bag prior to this do you do the online one, just a thought so you can know the tricks they use
there was a girl online who did great tutorial about brows and lash faking and I found eyebrow stencils used with powder and a stiff little brush worked well for brows, that was a tip given to me by the lady who fitted my wig when I was going through chemo, just tips
find what works for you, it takes bit of practice at first but you doin nail it

Hi @yikes1 I’m TN and am on weekly PAC with carbo 3weekly and pembro every 6 weeks. I had been on HRT (am 49) before diagnosis. Definitely experiencing more hot flushes daily and night sweats. also getting very bloody nose every morning which is not fun . I’m Def counting down the weeks, I’ve got another 2 cycles of PAC/carbo then due to have 4 cycles of EC before surgery etc. I’ve got a Hickman line cos they couldn’t do the picc line - which was fine and certainly easier than cannula.
@maria1970 how are you doing? Been thinking of you xx
Me too @maria1970
Hi everyone, hope you’re all on the mend I really do. I had my 3rd and last EC yesterday and OMG it hit me like a ton of bricks. I feel awful. Did not feel like this the 1st two.
The nausea and migraines are not being controlled at all with anything I’m taking. I called the helpline and they told me to go toa&e of it gets worse. I really don’t want to has anyone else found their symptoms to get progressively worse with time?
@saints33 you start to feel better soon.
Well done for finishing EC, I wasn’t too bad on it but I’m now on Pac and feel rough, phoned hotline during the night and I should be getting stronger antsickness, I cant eat or drink, not good but weirdly helpful knowing others are feeling the same.
@saints33 I’m so sorry you’re feeling rough. For those of you who are having EC every 2 weeks, I think your body is taking one hell of a battering. You don’t get any time to recover in-between.
I hope the symptoms ease quickly and you improve.
One big hurdle out of the way
@saints33 this sounds horrible are you feeling any better now? I hope the worst has passed for you now
Are you on the weekly paclitaxol? I started 1/12 last week
Yes 1/9 with Carbo
I’ve been in bed all day, only up for food and toilet. This one really knocked me early
