Beds/Northants/North East Bucks?

Debenhams is fine unless you know of somewhere else? I don’t really know places in MK to eat as I usually just go for the theatre or shopping then leave quickly before it gets too expensive!! I’m going to the theatre on Saturday to see Avenue Q - should be fun!

The schools won’t be on holiday so it shouldn’t be too busy.

Is there anyone else out there who wants to join us??

Enjoy Avenue Q Jane. Not been yet but it is one on my list. Went to see Calendar Girls a few weeks ago with daughters as elder one was home (works abroad) and we did enjoy it although a bit story a bit close to home! Right ladies so we will be hitting Debenhams they have a lovely corner overlooking the area we should be ok there and not be disturbed hopefully. Next question is time. How about midday ish? Adi

Debenhams midday sounds great, count me in. Looking forward to it. Have a lovely time at the threatre Alto xx

I’ll see you at Debenhams (rads planning permitting!) I’ll be the bald one…

Wonder if anyone else will join us? There were a couple more posting on this thread earlier. We’re definitely a bit thin on the ground in this part of the country, but I suppose that’s a good thing!

Snap 2 baldy so far, here’s hoping there will be more of us. Is there a collective noun for a group of bald women, if not maybe we should think of one. Right here’s hoping more will join us. Xxxxxx

hi Ladies,

if you dont mind a non chemo lady i would love to join up with you on 16th.

A SHINE of baldies?

I come up to MK area from time to time even though I’m from “dahn sahf” so if I’m around that day I’d love to pop in for coffee. Alto, please poke me occasionally as my head’s like a sieve. I normally put things straight into my phone but I’ve put it down somewhere and can’t find it!

Fantastic Anne, chemo is not a criteria love to see you, and CM course your welcome, MK is very metropolitan, but do we need a translator? He he. We even have muffins here. Xxx

Good to see you would like to join us Annie and Choccie Muffin. Think it will be a great day. We can start in Debenhams and move on if you decide not for you, but probably won’t have time with all the catching up!!! Really looking forward to it. Have a lovely Good Friday, already packed a small back for the picnic as intend to go for a long walk in the woods today. As you can see still hyper from Steroids but at least it was 4am and not 1am like yesterday!!!. Enjoy your day. Adi x

Like the SHINE of baldies, trouble is I’m not at the shine stage more patchy Velcro, looking forward to meeting you all. Xxx

The more the merrier! And don’t worry Annie, we’re not hairist - you can be an honourary baldy for the day and join our “Shine”. I might be a bit velcro-ish by then as well, as my last chemo will have been almost two weeks before.

I feel so left out, being asleep at 4am rather than online!

Aargh - why can’t I spell today?

look forward to meeting you all.

Can I join you girls?
I’m in Buckingham.

Love to see you hope, come and join the fun, looks like we are getting a lovely gathering of SHINE!!!

Great Kate (that’s my daughter’s name by the way) - the more the shinier/merrier (or more raucous, as I suspect we might be!)

Great news! Looks like there will be a few of us. I will probably be wearing my wig as not sure about exposing my rather thinning and grey head as look 20 years older. Depends how much hair I have by that day I suppose… Really looking forward to meeting you all. Any more joining us? Adi x

Oh raucous Alto, my type of meeting, though idid wonder if we were meeting at the JM not debenhams , he he. I shall be a scarfer rather than a wig far to hot for me to wear it.
Have a good day all.

Bumping for any newcomers - all welcome, whether hairy or shiny!

Jane xxx

By a peculiar coincidence I actually had lunch in there yesterday with my daughter - never been in before but we were in Debenhams looking for a dress for her uni summer ball (successfully and cheaply I might add). So they’ve had one baldy in there - I hope they can cope with a whole Shine of us!
