Cyst refills

Continuing the discussion from Cyst refilled after Aspiration:

Hi everyone,
I am just wondering if anyone has had a cyst refill less than a week after aspiration?
I attended the breast clinic after feeling a lump in left breast. I had 2 mammograms, ultrasound, cyst drained and x7 biopsies in right breast. fluid did come out of the cyst after aspiration and it was a browny colour but she never tested it.
The doctor that aspirated the cyst said at the time that it had disappeared, so it was nothing to worry about, however I checked my breast literally a day or so later and that cyst is back in the same place as before it was before aspirated.
The results from the right Breast calcifications was clear.
I’ll let the GP know that the cyst has refilled again, but in the meantime I was just wondering if anyone had experienced this refilling of a normal cyst after aspiration? I’m worried it might be something because the fluid from the cyst wasn’t tested, or they’ll just dismiss me.
Thanks guys

I’ve not had one refill but when I had one drained a few years back I was told it could happen and that I could go back to have it drained again or just leave it and it would sort itself out.

And before you panic that I had a cyst and now I’m on this forum it was the other breast and it has passed several mammograms and an MRI since then.

Hi

I have been told I have multiple cysts (too many to count), yes I’ve had some drained but they have also refilled again.
I used to be able to go to my gp to be aspirated but that stopped when I moved areas.

Try not to worry but do keep checking them
