Lily I will be seeing cardio team dont think I will be waiting too long. My dad is nearly back to his normal self so feel a lot better knowing the shunt he had put in is doing its job. This stopping smoking is hard im using patches but they are giving me weird dreams so between the hot flushes and weird dreams and the dog barking Im getting 3 or 4 hours sleep!
Im having a quiet night in tonight with a good book so that 2moro night I can go out and party and have Monday to recover.

Well paid for my summer holiday today, ouchy youch that made a dent in the plastic.Took little chap with me and we were not planning any shopping at all. Came back with 2 Scooby Doo t shirts, Scooby shorts, sandals, a football and a dog mask. I am putty in his hands and he knows it! Son is worse for wear after celebrating his friendās birthday a bit too much last night. I had no sympathy and made him go to work. He might as well be a vegetable there as at home. He phoned to come home early so is in bed now. No studying again and I seem to be the only one worrying about it.

Hope everyoneās hangovers arenāt too bad - what is it about a bank holiday? Having said that I had a few too many glasses of wine last night and the dreaded palpitations have started - they do occasionally but, as I know that the alcohol has caused them this time, I only have myself to blame.
Weāre just relaxing and not doing too much this weekend. Last w/end was hectic with the London marathon and next w/end OH and I have a night away on one of these hotel deals for a mini break. So just gardening and clearing up, which is fine by me when the weatherās so nice. Still have our traveller āfriendsā nearby, another reason not to stray from the house too much, but I think theyāve been served their notice now so should be gone soon. Trouble is they never leave a place as they find it do they? Us tax payers will be footing the bill for the clean up.
Lily - fab news about the mammo results, a huge sigh of relief and you can put that to the back of your mind for a long while now. Also - a holiday? Lucky you, where are you heading? Weāre still thinking about what to do but would like to go away with our 2Ds before they go off to uni - trouble is that doubles the budget! However I did get a big bonus this month for one of the new accounts Iād brought into the company so that can go towards it.

huge sigh of relief i bet? i dread going for mine when the appointment arrives. so glad yours was ok. the lymphodema nurse tried giving me something to reduce the swellin under arm and on top of shoulder, its like a huge support bandage boob tube, and she put one arm through and made a slit under neath, but its not working its in a totaly different place, after ive shifted about all night.
great that you have a holiday planned.,i find it difficult to do that my husband is self employed and only get chance at last minute many a time. but were always out and about so i dont mind,
i too spoil grandchildren, everytime i say im not going to the shops seem to be full of bargains.

well back from a lovely bbq at YD 's new house, even if I had 2 jumpers on and still had to go inside. Her partner is a great cook, oh she picked wisely! Victor cooks scrambled egg or does a salad - thats it, no joke. We also had to rescue my Mum as her boiler had stopped working but Victor is very good at fixing things so it is fine now. Off to a huge market with ED tomorrow as everyone else is busy. Nicky we are going to Turkey. I was surprised that doc told me I donāt have to take any extra precautions with my rads area while there! Not sure I believe him as told be very careful for a year and get no sun on it, by rads hospital. Hmm someone must be wrong here. Well done for the bonus. Hope you get a break sorted out for you all. Where are you going next weekend? Lisa sorry thought you had already buzzed off to better weather lol. You so deserve some fun, have a great time. My report said ānormal or benign mammographic appearances following surgery. No features requiring further assessment are seen.ā How yuk does that sound the first time you read it especially as attached to another letter and 2 letters always mean trouble to me. But very pleased now I have deciphered their good tidings. Lorraine is the swelling very troublesome? Surely that could be causing a lot of your aches and pains? Try not to wriggle so much in bed lol! Well done for gardening and ironing, you put me to shame.

boo hoo me back to work too. Having stress trying to get son to complete his A level coursework, I have to virtually prod him to keep him going. He is very anti uni and school at present and wants to go to work. Hope to get him to hang on to complete A2s if he does well enough. Have been discussing the morals of producing a toothbrush - riveting stuff lol!!! I can evendoergonomics now. All I really wanted to do was have a long soak in the tub.Word is overtyping so sorry about the 'looooooong wordsālol. Had fun at the market today except it rained a bit and we had to keep sheltering under awnings. Angie may be having the posts read to her or she may not be able to post for other reasons so lets just keep chatting and hope she pops back in some time and tells us she has been on an adventure somewhere. havenāt been able to access computer for a while due to doing loads of overtime (while I can as as from June hardly any work at all aghhh itās all or nothing!) anyway great news Lily on your results really pleased for you. Did they contact you for the appointment or are we supposed to follow it up? as I havenāt heard anything as yet.
Hope you succeed with your son as really the job market is so depressing he really is better on getting his qualifications.
My daughter is enjoying her work on the boat (Orient express style!) she says it is hard work as she starts early and finishes late but the people are all lovely and she is seeing some beautiful regions of France. We hope to get out and see her when she gets some time off as we didnāt last year! no need to explain.
Lisa hoping you are having the hols of the lifetime Disney is great we did it years ago when the kids were young but I would love to go again such fun.
Nicky sorry to hear the palpitations are bothering you again it is so unfair after all you have been through you are entitled to a glass or two! mind you I can only manage one or two or I am sweating buckets so annoying.
I have been doing a bit of gardening too over the bank holiday which was lovely but my hand starts to swell up if I do more than an hour which really infuriates me and I get a lot of discomfort under my arm but it seems to come and go so keeping finders crossed (not on the dodgy hand!) that it will keep getting better.

know what you mean about the palpatations, i have like a thudding in my ear, which is definetly my heartbeat, its so unsettling, and seems to be worse at night when i lie down,need to go docs, but keep putting it off, dont fancy more tests.
spent some time with my sis, today and she is so weak, and has lost so much weight, i feel quiet healthy compared to where she is at, she keeps remarking how i can do so much, but i keep telling her she will too., we were the same last year, whod have thought wed be relatively normal now,

Bev I was sent an appointment to go for breast screening, which came from the breast clinic we have (separate from the hospital but same docs there, weird set up). I did not know it was coming but it was sent 6 weeks in advance so I feel it may be from the screening programme. It was timed for one year from when my surgery was completed, not from the last mammo. Not sure if that is standard or not, but it just arrived. Be careful gardening as I thought we had to be very careful about using the arm too much and for repetitive actions. I donāt even use the mowers any more for that reason and I had tiny SNB surgery.
Well things are hotting up here in the A level department thank goodness. His first coursework mark was good so that is the first one we have heard. He has a horrendous exam on Thursday which lasts from 8.15 to 5.15, with food breaks. They open an envelope and have to design and make a solution for a problem. My brain would not get round that at all, I hope his does. He has also managed to have a subject clash despite only taking 4 subjects and has to be locked in a room with a lady for 3 hours with his phone confiscated and take the next exam after everyone else. LOL he was not amused at all. Starting to feel hotter at work but no-one else is, oh dear is the great effect of nolvadex going? Good job there is a big fan near me. Trouble is all my papers blast all over the room.

you must have posted just after I read them all so sorry if I looked like I was ignoring you. The thudding in the ear sounds horrible, get it checked out and hope they can do something for it. Your poor sister, she needs to eat lots of protein to repair all that damage. I had 14 eggs in 3 days one time when wobbly on chemo!! I think my high protein diet kept my iron and immune system cope, no proof, just a gut feeling. Lorraine you would have laughed and laughed if you had been with me today. I was busy chomping a very large chocolate brownie with big chocolate chips (the most decadent yummy type) after work, when the guy from the gym rang to see why we hadnāt gone back. I nearly choked, felt like he had been watching and caught me out. I even ended up confessing that I had eaten it lol. I have promised to go back this week but I think he is rather interested in my daughter going back more than me!! Watch this space

Bev, re the thudding in the ear, i get it sometimes when lie down and think its high blood pressure, were letting me get it down myself but Ive decided to enjoy my hols then go for pills. Really hope your sister picks up soon.
Re the gardening, my arm swells up and down a bit but not too bad, think you have to be careful when doing repetative stuff nd wear gloves for gardening. I find it does impact on my life, today dog to vets for kennel cough drops and i was sooo worked up that would have to get dog on talbe and would need to explain.
Well, boy ive been busy, buying last minute bits, money, sorting deckign out (coming at 7am tomorrow) , lottries, dog in kennels, dog getting jabs, major work at workā¦ oh but just packed fast!!! Oh and got a new boob today, what joys, and I cant believe im admitting to this but had my hair cut off really short (never would have thought would go shorter).
Mam and dad keep phoning me and driving me bonkers, on plus side its 94 degrees, so will have to try and not burn arm but would like a healthy glow!!! Aprehensive about arm on flight and boob on hols in vest tops and cosie, plus side is travelling down and other side with someone so bit easier and hopefully better than last time i flew over, bomb threats!!!
Lily, do you think trainer was watching you - dont want to get weighed tomorrow as ate and drank so much know have added weight!!

I am so shocked you were flying when all the bomb threats were going - I would have refused to get on the plane. Just sneezing you have to watch for this time. I promised to go today or tomorrow but got a late night at scholl so canāt, yikes he might check up again!I checked Angieās site a while ago and no update or on Tommyās flicker, still hoping for the best.

Had a good night on Sunday but was a bit of a lightweight and come home early but still suffered all day Monday! It was my sons āturnā to go out last night, how can the young ones keep going? I know why cos they sleep for 24 hours after having a night out and get plenty of recovery time that us mums dont get!

One of my quick catch ups as nothing really to write! Other than wishing Lisa well with her big packing task Have a great holiday and have a real chill out, hope all the preparations and extra work youāve no doubt taken on before you go have not been too tiring. At least you can have a sleep on the plane - I hope!
As Lily says, a very sad time on here at the moment with so many secondary ladies passing away - unfortunately it brings my situation to the front of my head rather than hidden at the back of it as I like it to be! However, as we are all different I try not to dwell on things and carry on as usual. Just have to avoid some of the (intentionally well meaning) questions at work as to how I am doing now my treatment has stopped - I wish! I only said I had BC to them not secondary BC as I couldnāt stand even more sympathy than I get so I have to deal with these questions and deflect any further ones! Having said that I hope to keep away from the hospital for a while now as Iām switching to tablet bisphosphonates after my last hunt-a-vein episodes. Just being away from that place for a while should help! Other than that Iāve been busy at work, enjoying it mostly as itās a lovely place to work and I get to earn some money 
Traveller āfriendsā are still here - not good. Hope they get moved on soon.

Well, having a major woebble, hoping its just cos Im stressed to hilt and stuff but cried all the way home yest that something really bad is going to happen, going docs tomorrow as headaches are back which are hopefully just tension but had a major wobble as when move my head fast I get some odd puffs of what seems like wavy smoke following my eye, I can only see it if I concentrate hard in front of light surfaces (which might be adding to the bad head), but Im terrified something happening to eyes or brain and docs will send em for tests and not let me go on hols - phew, sorry for the blurt for a very tired Lisa
