I’m back home now. Had to wait ages to see oncologist - he’s so much nicer than the radiographer I saw last week. He’s taken me off Tamoxifen and giving me something else to try - not sure what but he’s writing to my gp. He told me to stop taking them today and have a break for a couple of weeks. Have to have a bone scan so would imagine they are going to be aromatase inhibitors. He said he was happy for me to go in the sea on holiday but didn’t recommend the pool as there is a risk of infection. He’s just back from Zante and said the sea is lovely and warm. He told me not to go topless - I laughed and said I’m a bit past that! Just told me to keep the area out if direct sunlight and use high factor cream. Feel happier tonight - may even have a vodka! Have an appointment to see him again in three months time. Happy Weekend everyone - no zapping til Monday ?

Good to hear the onc listened to you, Sharnie. I had my fourth day of bladder inflammation today and had blood in urine. Phoned onc, who said to stop taking Letrozole for a week. Unfortunately I’m too poorly to go to party tonight. ?

Goodnight all - just been out for a while for friends birthday but had to come home as tiredness kicking in, had a couple of vodkas so hopefully I will sleep tonight! No rads or Tamoxifen tomorrow either. Got a bit upset again tonight - just don’t know what’s come over me - be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks, hope I start to feel a bit better - I don’t like this me - want my happy me back! Hope you all get a good nights sleep xx

Ive had a few glasses of wine tonght ive just said to my hubby im like on bail on monday im back inside… je sais what ? I said on monday im taking tabs again ive just enjoyed being me for the week ;0(

Keeping everything crossed for you.Its hard when you know you are causing your own symptoms by putting tablet in mouth, such a dilemma …I’ve never taken so many painkillers even when I broke my leg.

Morning all, did actually get some sleep, think couple of vodkas and Nytol helped. Hope I will be more cheerful today - don’t even know what set me off last night! Still got pain in boob from rads so think it’s something I’ve just got to put up with for a little while. Hoping my little break from tablets will do me good. Not nice here today - been raining and very dull. Have a good weekend everyone ?
