Hi all, happy Friday! How are you all? Sorry I’ve been quiet really struggled with my first EC on Monday I basically slept for 3 days and have had bad nausea but have changed to another anti sickness medicine which is helping but it’s been awful! Hoping I pick up over the weekend and my appetite comes back. Will be so relieved when chemo is done xx

@dani_321 Sending hopes for you to feel better asap. I did not get on with EC at all but I also believe the first one is the worst so hopefully this is as bad as it will get for you. Keep resting & hydrating & eat when you can. Joining you on dreaming of the days when this is no longer what we have to deal with x

Hey lovely. No I stopped wearing my bra at night probably 2/3 months after surgery. I still wear a sports style bra In the day but nothing at night now. I have a tissue expander implant which will be replaced with permanent implant after radiotherapy xx did you hear back from BCN?

Ouch indeed :sob: dragged myself to my daughter’s cheerleading competition today in Telford which was an hours drive away. The shooting pains in my back and pelvis were horrendous. Going to pay for it tomorrow I’m sure. Was worth it though - they got 2nd place !

Rest up lovely xxxx

Hi yes I did after I thought about it I think it’s because I’d slept in a bra with a zip and it had dug in a little as it’s tight nurse said give it a week and if it’s the same go in for a check, the pain went away after a day so all good, they did say to still wear a bra 24/7 though I also have the tissue expander, not sure how long we wait to have it swapped out after radiotherapy do you? Also if my BRCA comes back positive I will opt for second mastectomy x

@whataloadof @shell86 definitely feeling the paclitaxel pains, day 3 and I’ve woke up feeling like I’ve been hit by a bus! X

@emilyxxx @shell86 there’s a lot of buses crashing into us ladies right now! It’s truly the strangest feeling-currently only managing to sleep with a pillow wedged under my aching butt, collarbone feels like it’s about to snap, calves like I’ve run a marathon before breakfast (again!) & the whole inner thigh & pelvis aching thing. I’m just dealing with it by picturing the pains as a death to every single messed up might have thought about becoming cancer one day cell zap zap zap we go!! Bugger right off cancer-you hear me-bugger off & don’t ever think about coming back here again! ZAP!

@shell86 well done you getting out to see your daughter flying around yesterday-hope stew looking after you today.

ONE TO GO xx

Sorry only replying now @emilyxxx.

I’m not paying any attention to the testing just yet. I’m focused on finishing chemo, 4 more rounds to go! And I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it if it comes back positive. 6 months ago I would have been going out of my head!

How’re you feeling about the testing?

@whataloadof, I thought you were on Docetaxel? When did you change to Nab-Paclitaxel? xx

@sheraldo Hello-hope you’re doing ok. Decision was made when I changed over due to the hard time I’d had with the steroids on EC & none required with nab-p
