Well Debs, I listened to your advice about making the most of the good days and we drove to the beach, watched the beautiful sky which was bright pink, and sat by the harbour eating fish and chips. I have been feeling really tired for weeks but today was so gloriously sunny up here on the east coast of Scotland that I did what you suggested and made the most of the day. See DEbs, you are still managing to give us advice even although you are having a tough time just now. So girl, we are hanging on to you tightly and we are not ready to let you go just yet. Thinking of you as all the ladies here are and hoping the days ahead get easier for you. Much love Val XX
Thinking of you Debs, I do hope that you start to feel better soon xxx
Debs I hope you and Ian have seen hanbags (Hannah’s) post here…(page 43) Much Love, Belinda…xx
Debs, just wanted to say I hope the treatment gets easier for you. I can see what an inspiration you have been and are being to people on here.
God Bless love x
Hi,
really sorry to hear that things are so tough for you and thank you for always thinking of others, such a wonderful thing to be able to do. A little practical tip ask them if vitamin E would be of any help. At the risk of sounding totally off my head and inappropriate - my little dog was given the mincemeat dx very recently and we took him to an international consultant (dog gets private I get NHS!) after our vet said his liver was totally wrecked (ultrasounds and bloods) and no hope. Consultant said worth trying liver support sachets and vitamin E. She said Vit E helps heal the liver. He was within days looking good and is now trying to eat the postman again. No idea if a similar product works for people but thought I would mention it just in case it leads to something helpful for you.
Really hope I have not upset you or anyone with a dog story
Hugs Lily x

hi debs
hope your doing ok on the treatment, and can manage to find things you can do while your immobile, such as reading or watching some good movies. you must be feeling quite low, cos i can imagine your normally quite active. you could always write your christmas cards if you feel up to it. god bless.x healing thoughts your way.x
Hey guys - wondering how the radiotherapy is going - must be exhausting for you Debs. I hope Ian has learned advanced wheelchair pushing. Another wheelchair tip - in lifts my husband used to push me straight in which left me facing the corner - rather like the naughty corner at school - he would then carry on all sorts of wonderful conversation with those around him, facing the corner I didn’t really have that option!
Thinking of you guys
Take care & much love xx
I had a wheelchair for long hospital corridors when I’d just had my hip replaced…my husband would take corners on 2 wheels, forget to put the brake on…I should have worn a safety helmet and goggles really.
Dear Debs I hope the rads are working well.
Take Care. Love Belinda…x
Hi Debs,
I am relatively new to this sight but you have helped and inspired me with your honesty, positivness and humour. You are a help and an inspiration to many.
Sending you every good wish.
Kate
Hi Debs,
Thinking of you lots and wondering how you’re doing today? We missed our “quiet” friend very much on Friday and raised a glass to you and Ian. I really hope you’re not in too much pain today. It’s raining heavily here but I must get the dog out as the poor thing hasn’t seen much of me the last few days!
Take care Debs,
Loads of love and hugs xx
I too have been thinking of both you and Ian today Debs.
With Love, Belinda…x

Hi Debs,
The sun is shining - the autumnal colours as I look out over the valleys are beautiful. Thinking of you today and hoping some sunshine comes your way. Prayed for you and Ian in chapel yesterday.
