Is anyone thinking of going to Aly’s funeral. I’ve worked it out that it’s about a 2 and a half hour drive from where I live so could at a pinch do this in a day.

I met Aly through here and on fb. I will always remember her down to earth and no nonsense approach - always spiced with a wicked sense of humour.

Too soon, too cruel, but now free from pain.

RIP Aly, like many on here I was DX about the same time and Aly was always happy to give support and advice. I knew she had been poorly recently but her passing is still a shock, Another Angel gets her wings, xx

So very shocked & saddened to hear this news today. Aly was one of the first people i can remember when i came onto the site shortly after being diagnosed. She was very forthright with a great wit & humour, she will be greatly missed, thinking of all her family & friends. Sleep peacefully Aly xxx

I too have been following Aly’spost through my sisters fb acc. Aly and my sister were diagnosed with secondaries around the same time and I always used Aly’s strength and fighting spirit to guide my sister, though i lost her 3 weeks ago. Aly you were a true inspiration to all those fighting this dreadful disease. Hope my sissy has a big hug for you up there xx
