Reiki is foot pressure points isn’t it? I gave ridiculously ticklish feet so I don’t know if I could cope. I get very tense if anyone goes near my feet ?
No physical contact at all
it’s hard to explain but he held his hands about 12 inches from my body and my breast and armpit area where the surgeries were became really warm and tingly he told me to touch his hands and they were freezing cold like all his body heat was transferred to me.
Then he said he was going to do all over well being healing and I felt a warmth go from my feet and work it’s was slowly up to the top of my head x after I felt so relaxed it was untrue
Reflexology is feet touching x

Oh no what a nightmare for you. I was nervous about having my flu jab so close to chemo and my arm swelled at the injection site way more than hubby’s did.
I hope that it settles quickly for you x

Oh jencat hope you are ok. Nothing like kknock8ng you when you’re down hey! Dont pajic, just be patient they will get you sorted. Phone you bcn or oncology people in the morning and tell them whats happened. They will advise you what to do. Big hugs xx

That advice doesn’t feel quite right does it Jencat ? Could you ask the nurses in the Ask the nurses section see what they advise ? What blooming bad luck getting an infection .

Another ‘thing’ in the way but best to be sure about start of treatment etc and its great the your ED will be around. They will get you right and ready!

Definitely Jencat! I have to have chemo to have Herceptin and I had serious wobbles about it last week on the run up to my first cycle because I felt so well. I know that for my long term future health I have to do it but it was a bit like that bit at the top of the roller coaster without the thrill in the way down!
Waiting to get started is horrible, we all just want this done and to be able to move on with our lives. X

Its completely normal ro think this and that b4 treatment but the best way to think is ‘What if I don’t have it?’
My way of thinking is, if treatment is offered we should take it unless they tell us there’s no point.
Its so difficult because when they give us something we think ‘do we need it’ yet if they dont offer it we wonder why not!
Maybe another chat with Onc b4 you start? The antibiotics wont help your mood either my lovely so lets concentrate on getting you back on track again ready for for treatmentxxx
