I’ve got loads of cotton vest tops so think I’m going to go with them and no bra? Not looking forward to that especially at work but it’s only 4-6 weeks (I hope). If someone gets on my nerves at work I can always bop them in the eye with one of my baps! ?

Just got my dates and times through and I start on Friday ?I was told it would probably be the 19th but best to crack on with it I think. Best start using my moogoo tonight I was saving it till a bit closer to the time. It’s at a completely different hospital as well but still about 40 minutes away so won’t really make any difference

Shi asked me to let you know about the top that my friend bought me when I was having my rads and unable to wear my normal bra. It was so amazingly comfortable that I actually bought myself another one.

Spider woman my paperwork says we can us pit rock deodorant, have you tried that? I’ve been using it the last few days and been at work all day today I can’t smell any pit pong so it seems to work. I had really bad pit pong after op it was awful.

Hi everyone. I came home from two weeks holiday in Goa yesterday and start my rads tomorrow!! I’ve got a fantastic suntan already and the blue dots have all but disappeared so hope they can still find them!! I have also got a stinking cold and a chest cough. Aargh! The holiday was great took my mind off all this but back yo reality now!! Have been reading this thread, where has ladybowler gone? Hope she’s ok cos she really buoyed me up a few times since I was dxd in October! X
Sorry Helena just noticed you commented further down. Still got jet lag I think!! Got my 1st session tomorrow lunchtime. Hours journey each way. Hope the done holds off for the rest of February!!! Feeling a bit nervous for what is to come!

Hi Ladies
just had day 7 today. Drove myself for first four days, got drivers this week. Round trip with treatment is 3 hours…although been delayed for an hour on last three visits…think one of the machines is out of action.
Skin been fine so far, but have developed a cough…started tickling during treatment today and was unable to stop the cough starting…luckily I was near end of treatment. Will take a lozenge to suck tomorrow. Sitting here, I’m quite tired, but will get out in sunshine with the dog before I crash out. Aiming to walk 10,000 steps minimum a day and find getting outside is good for the soul!

Had a fascinating talk on how The radiotherapy machines work by one of the engineers at the unit followed by a tour of the unit and a look inside one of the machines which cost 2.6 million each! Our unit has 4 currently with a 5th one being installed next weekend!
How long did it take to receive the moogoo order? Starting treatments today. I have a stock of aloe vera and e45 creams but just ordered the oncology pack from moogoo. Just hope my horrid cold and cough doesn’t prevent my rads from going ahead!! By the way anyone still experiencing the odd pain in the boob on and around the WLE area 12 weeks in? Can anyone tell me if they still gave the big blue splurge too from the radioactive injection? Wonder how long this takes to go? Thank you xx
