Exactly same here. Very small boob, clamped in a mammogram machine, me lying on my side, local anaesthetic didn’t work properly and they took several biopsies. Sounded like a machine gun! Felt like hell! Was very bruised till they took it all away. Definitely more painful than the surgery.
Yes in terms of arm movement the main thing I can’t do is fully stretch my arm above my head when lying on my back. Hoping with a bit of massage it’ll loosen off. Was back to doing decent weight training and Pilates before chemo…..am determined to try to keep it up even if it’s just once a week (assuming I’m able to avoid the crowds at the gym and minimise infection risk 
).
Am surprised how good my energy levels are (so far). Steroids must have worn off as I slept well last night and did another decent walk this morning. Long may it last
