Fed up of cancer

Maybe this is the time to start smoking again. Or take to some other illicit drugs. Oncologists can advise, but you are entitled to do as you like and take it or leave it

That’s my view anyway

A short life but a happy one, or maybe a short life and a miserable one. Who is to know?

I say “why not me” a lot. Like I was some kind of super human that nothing would happen to me?
My very best friend buried a child. She keeps me going. We will walk in the forest and she will say “that branch could fall on us and take us out “ Her point is again one phone call can change your life. And that applies to every one. It’s nothing we did. And only we, and others that have been dealt a crappy hand understanding that. It’s nothing we did and we don’t deserve it. But who does?

@Seagulls
There is absolutely nothing I could say to make that better but I’m so very very sorry that he has done that to you. You deserve better and I wish I could take the pain away from you. X

I agree it’s pure bad luck if you get cancer, I couldn’t believe it when I found I had it, just never imagined I would get it. Diagnosed at 75, not overweight, don’t drink alcohol, do some exercise, eat sensibly, had 1 child at 21. So, why did I get it, very unlucky, but so are a huge number of women, I’m just glad treatment can be so effective now. We just have to get on with it don’t we?
