Hi, I have had a double mastectomy with reconstruction for DCIS last surgery November 2022. I’d like to have some flowers tattooed across my scars / breasts and wonder if anyone has any tips or recommendations as feel a bit vulnerable just walking into a tattoo parlour!

Thanks I’ve had a look but it seems to relate to nipple tattoos. I am interested in tattoos of flowers across my breasts / scars, any recommendations?

Ask your surgeon they prob have a local recommendation specializing in Mx tattoos. Best of luck
Some of the tattooists recommended on that other thread for nipple tattoos are obviously experienced dealing with BC patients and will likely also do more artistic work so it still might be worth checking those . Xx
Hi I wanted the share that I had a flower tatto last Sunday, following my smx & immediate reconstruction in June 2023, I searched for a tattooist in my local area who is assigned to the mastectomy tattoo alliance, & she has been amazing

I can recommend an amazing lady in Malvern called Becky Barker - she specialises in permanent 3D nipple tattoos and decorative tattoos.
All proceeds go towards the NIP charity. Nipple Innovation Project - she was kind, sensitive and will listen to what you’re hoping to achieve.

After my reconstruction, I wanted something that made me feel more like myself again. I found losangelesmedicaltattoo, and their 3D Areola Tattoo work was amazing. It looks so real, and it gave me a huge confidence boost.
They were kind and patient, and made the whole experience really comfortable. Definitely worth checking out if you’re thinking about this kind of finishing touch.
