OK girls - this is it!!
Who is up to meet again at Hedge End M&S one afternoon this coming week at 2.30 ish?? I am free Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.
It would be great if we could all get together this time i.e. Liz, Helen, Helen (yes there are 2), Frances and anyone else who reads this of course is welcome.

Thanks people for asking yes-I feel better chemo has finally worn off. Arm is very sore but that must have been the 2 hours gardening I did on Sunday. I can do Wednesday but have to be back by 4.30pm for radiotherapy, could we meet up a bit earlier and will see Lynn for a bit shorter- no offence Lynn but it might be a rush unless you can make Waterlooville? Looking forward to hearing about barbecue.

Hi both helens and anyone else i’ve met or yet to. Sorry I couldn’t meet today suffering from a rotten chesty cough and runny nose.
Had to cancel a lunchdate as well for this week. What a downer. Living on cough mixture and fishermens friends,paracetemol and keeping CM’s bucket near by.But need it gone for fec5 next tues.
Anyway been told only 3weeks of rads plus hormone treatment not sure which one though. Chris x

It would have been nice to have met you as you were the first person I spoke to on this forum. Sorry to hear about your rotten cold but hopefully you can meet up with us next time. We are going to try to arrange another one before Helen (Troy) goes back to work and whilst I am still only working part time. Hope you soon pick up.

Yes, it was a good happy meeting. Sorry Chris about your cold that’s the last thing you want with chemo as well. I thought I was never going to see the back of the SE’s after the last chemo but thankfully they did go. Had 4 rads (getting into this abbreviation thing) and so far no soreness or red skin, 3 weeks seems to be it now as I was originally told 5. Started on Letrozole 2 days ago hopefully that will be OK if not I am stuck with it for the next 5 years.

How are you all doing? I’m not too bad apart from sore under my arm from rads. Chris I hope you recovering from your cold and that you are coping ok with SEs from your chemo.
Does anyone want to meet up next week? Maybe at Fareham - Wednesday or Thursday afternoon? Any other ideas??
