Hi All

Well hope you all had a great lie in … me, well, daughter arrived in my bed at 3.15 (old time 4.15) and stayed asleep till the new 6.45!!! So not as bad as feared. My little baby boy woke about 5 new time but then went back to sleep (with two more little visits) til about 7.30 new time. So was much better than we feared, as if got up at normal 7-7.30ish, would have been 6 -6.30ish on new time (if that makes sense LOL). Think I have confused myself and you lot.

Dilys glad you went out and hope it was OK. I know what you mean about people moaning over nothing - keep thinking you should be grateful thats all you have got …

Lee - got same steroids as you then … and must remember on Tuesday to start them again - remind me everyone if you can …

Kelly, hows you and the house viewings. Hope you having good weekend too, apart from having to keep everything spotless.

Mel, hope you are good today as well, like your comments on the other thread about what people say … very amusing.

Anyway, hope all the Lesleys are good, Ali and Lynne you too - and hope that everyone is having a good Sunday, although the weather is pants.

Schools back tomorrow - yippeee … then got yet another 4th birthday party Tuesday afternoon and No. 5 Chemo on Wednesday (2nd taxotere) - and am dreading it, in case has same affect as the last one - so will be out of sorts for a week if that is the case!!!

Good morning all,

It was another early night for us last night. OH was tired after playing golf and stuff and I was just my usual sleepy self! Couldn’t be ars*d to cook last night so ordered in a Domino’s pizza, yummy!!! I bet pizza hut was equally delicious eh Mel??

Out for drinks eh Dilys, our little galavanter! I hope you had a nice time in spite of friends grumbling how poorly they were!

Glad to see you’re back with us Dawn, at least you managed a little bit of a lie in!

Well, we thought the viewing went really well yesterday but have heard nothing yet so maybe it wasn’t as good as we thought. You never know though, so please continue to keep everything crossed and I’ll be sure to keep you posted. Hopefully with some good news next time!!

The weather in Shrops is pretty grim today. So, I guess it’ll be a day lounging around for us. We’re not actually sure whether the est agents is open today or not, but the house will remain immaculate just in case!!

Dawn…it says 2 x day…what time do you take yours? I usually take the ones with fec at 730 and at 1:00 pm is that the same for the tax too? same steroids only more of them…same for you? dexamethasone I believe is the name of them

Barge away Julie! More the merrier. Fingers crossed Kelly that someone snaps up your house soon. I suppose it is too soon to really expect an offer though. Pizza - yummy! And Dawn, glad you had a reasonable lie in, though I did get confused with the times! Try to rest a bit before the next blasting next week.

Weather foul here today as well so I think we will just be loungng about. I am just hoping that my blood will have recovered enough for tomorrow’s inflation. I will have to get my lazy self up in time to be there at 0830 for the blood test. Brings back all those Monday morning blues memories!

Hi all,

well it turns out the est agents isn’t open today!! Taking it as a good sign though and hopin that we may get some feedback tomorrow as to what the investor thought when he viewed our house yesterday. Also, we’ve discovered that our details will prob not be sent out to prospective buyers 'til tomorrow as we only approved them and sent them back on fri, so thats prob (well, hopefully!) why we haven’t had more bites so far!

Sorry for wittering on, just thought I’d share that with you all!! How nice am I eh?! LOL!!

Good luck with your inflation tomorrow - please don’t worry about it. I can hardly feel it when my Consultant injects the saline in now.

Nice to know someone else is going to look like me - i.e. one boob 20 times larger than the other ! I’m joking - its not that bad (but have your wheelbarrow ready anyway - lol !!)

Dawn - hope you are ok. It is the inflation of the implant. Sounds to me right now like getting stretched and pregnant in a lot less than 9 months! Ouch!

Hello Girlies

Weather is really pants here in Norfolk today - so we have had a ‘nothing’ day. Cooked Sunday lunch, dossed about and watched Finding Nemo, just taken my Mum back home and my hubby is now bathing the children. Really looking forward to my last chemo on Friday, can’t believe it is almost here…yay!!! NOT looking forward to Wednesday though when I have to take my Mum back for her biopsy results…I know that I will feel really angry if it happens to her too - but will just have to keep calm and see what happens. Back to school tomorrow so that will be a relief too!

Dilys - Good luck with the pumping up. I am intrigued by all this as I am having the same. I assume you can only start now as there is a risk of infection during chemo…is that right? Hasn’t it been annoying all these months not being able to have them inflated?

Kelly - hope you get some news on the house this week, it’s keeping us all in suspense…be so good if you could get moving before Christmas.

Dawn - I confused myself this morning with the times and what time Thomas needed to have his sleep. Not as confused as my Mum though cos Henry Kelly on Classic FM was still on BST and kept telling everyone the wrong time - she was well muddled!!

Lee - hope the Dex and the Tax goes OK for you - same as me, they just upped the dose and changed the days to take them - let us know how you get on.

Lynne - hope you are OK…did you get a curry fix this weekend? Lesleys X2 - are you alright? Haven’t heard from you for a while.

Hi Julie welcome to the never ending thread - it’s quite fun though catching up with everyone every day.

Mel - glad you made it to the cinema and pizza hut, mmm nice. I am really into junk food this week - god that is sooo bad, I should be trying to be a bit more sensible or I will end up like a weeble soon. Still at least there will be enough tummy fat to make 2 new boobs next year!!!LOL!!!

Evening all!

We are growing arent we???

Anyway sunday has come and nearly gone, legs feel wobbly today but not as bad has they have been on the past! Kids stopped at their nans last night so me & OH could soend some time together!! I hate to ask this but is anyone else suffering from the lack of libido!! I am normally active but lately well dont touch comes to mind!! I hope its not just me? So last night was a bit awkward but he knows me - should do after 17yrs together!

Kelly - the suspense is high! hope you get good news! Are you doing your regime! lolol my excuse is its sunday and I got jelly legs!!! again!!

Ali - I was hoping that my excess tummy roll would be used for new boods but my dr says that they are big enough and could get away with thje lump just being remove!~ cheeky sod! wel I am an F… so I could imagine them trying to inflate these babies…hehe glad some else enjoys take outs, mmmm I have my fingers crossed for you and your mum and my toes x

Dilys - good luck with the inflation! My dad said I would need to go to the army and navy store I asked why he said to get some reinforced hammocks! so kind my parents… but perhaps and idea if they over inflate… bes wishes and fingers crossed it goes well - let us know! x

Dawn - My god gal you do know haw to confused and easily confusable person phew how did you manage to last the morning!!! I to am looking forward to tomorrow! a mlittle bit of peice and quiet…ahhhhh

Well got a chat with the DLA this week to appeal as I did pt one of those DS200 forms in and that I was told even by the consultant that I should get it so wait til I see him!!! Will let you know how I get on.

Well got to go and sort grumpy kids out as their nan let them stay up past midnight last night so they are grumpy and over tired joy.

Good morning all!

Blimey, aren’t we growing now!! Check us out!! Well, the sun is shining gloriously in Shrops today, its bl**dy cold though! Heating is on, and I’ve no plans to go anywhere today. Rang the est agent this morning, the fella who came on Sat really liked the house apparently, is having a think about things and had promised to ring them back tomorrow. So, keeping the house spotless as ever and everything is crossed!!!

I know I will have missed you by now Dilys, thinking of you though and hoping all goes ok today.

Well, I’m relieved that the kids are now back at school and we haven’t even got kids!!!

Weird week this week as it would normally be chemo week for me. Should be off for bloods tomorrow then chemo weds, not complaining but it does feel strange! Got another reiki session booked for weds at the hosp so won’t quite be getting withdrawal symptoms as I’ll still be making my usual journey. Start taking my Tamoxifen on Thurs, I’m nervous about it already!! Rads start next monday, just another thing to be nervous about!!

Well, thats enough of my wittering on!! I hope you are all doing ok,my mind is not quite with it today so I won’t attempt to adddress you all individually!!

Dear All

Well after all that my blood count wasn’t good enough for the surgeon to carry on inflating! What a let down (sorry about bad pun). You are right Ali - they won’t do it during chemo because of the risk of infection, so they stopped a few months ago after two lots of 50ml. Great to hear that you will be joinng me and Julie in due course. Never mind, next week will be just great. Tuesday for a blood test again, Wednesday for hoefully the inflation, and herceptin on Thursday! On the Wednesday my poor OH will be there at the same time for a colonsocopy. Think on the whole I come off best there! Who has a wild social life then?

Never mind, the sun is shining so it cold be worse.

Kelly - fingers crossed for your potential buyer! And enjoy the reiki session. Much nicer than chemo I should think.

Mel - good luck with the appeal.

Dawn and all with children - have a nice rest!

Dawn… I take 4 tablets twice a day for 3 days…day before, day of, and day after…gawd I will be a loon as they drive me friggin nutz! What times do you take yours? early morning and early afternoon or when??? thanks for info

Having a good chilling day! sun is out but brrrrrrrrrrrrr so got heating!

Lynne - was advised a mild curry as I suffer from really bad gastric stomach problems due to FEC!

Kelly - I have phoned up for the younger womens forum for next year - have you?

Lee - Oh yes kids a school but peace will be broken in ,… 15 mins Daughters 8th birthday today so she will be hyper!!!

Hi Everyone

Wow what a list of people on here now, and I know I ain’t gonna remember you all … so apologies in advance.

Lee, I normally take first set of 4 steroids when I get up and have brekkie and then take the second lot about 3pm in the afternoon, although first time round forgot on the last day and took at 7pm, thankfully didn’t affect me too much. On day of chemo I took my second lot before I got there, otherwise would have been after 5. Have been told not to take them after 5 if poss, as can keep you awake. Hope this helps. I start again tomorrow … ready for wednesday!!!

Dilys, am so sorry to hear your bloods not good today, hopefully tomorrow will be better and that you get your inflation … keeping everything crossed for you. And yeah lovely to have the sun shining again, although is quite cold. A rest … I wish. Although daughter back at preschool and baby went to sleep about 9.45, then had ironing to do, his bottles to do and then had to eat kitkats!!! So little bit of a rest.

Kelly, keep on at the estate agents, as they are not always good at getting feed back or pushing people … I do so hope you get an offer though and it is what you want. New house for crimbo - lovely.

Lynne hope your boss/mum no.2 has good results today, let us know. And yes, am well pleased half term over, although my little girl only goes for 2 and a half hours, but better than nothing.

I had the onc fill out a DS1500 form (special needs or something) not that I need special needs. Not sure what your DS200 form is though. But keeping everything crossed for you. Hope you got back into the swing of the school run this morning, although amazes me how you manage to post on here between getting up and getting them both to school. I would have NO chance, am a bit of headless chicken by 8.20. All good fun though …
