I was 22 when I had an abnormal smear result which showed pre cancerous cells that I had to have treated. This was 13 years ago when luckily for me they screened you from age 20. If only they screened for bc from a young age too.
I just wanted to say RIP jade, my heart goes out to you and your family.

It’s so poignant that Jade has died on Mother’s Day.
Let’s hope something good has come out of this and more young lives will be saved because of how she has raised awareness of cancer screening.
My prayers today are for her 2 boys.

Some may not have liked the way you were in the public eye at the end of your life, but you showed what a ‘awful’ disease this is and that not all people get better despite the best of treatment.
Your wedding was wonderful.
Lets hope your boys are well provided for and grow up to be a credit to their lovely mum.

Such sad sad news, I am totally gutted. It must be of great comfort to those closest to Jade that she passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by loved ones, just as she had wished.
This is a sad day, Jade touched the lives of so many people. I shed tears at the news and I’ve no doubt countless others will have too.
Sincere condolances to Jade’s family and friends. Rest assured she will never be forgotten, even by those of us who never knew her.

I do hope her case does have the beneficial effect of persuading young women not to ignore invitations to smear tests.
Jade is in a much better place, it is ironic that she passed away on Mother’s day, over the last few all she has done has been for her boys.
She was a very brave girl to face her illness the way she did and hopefully now some good will come from this awful tragedy.
