Hi. I’m having my second FEC tomorrow. I used the cold cap but my hair has started falling out today but only from the back near my neck a bit like Rosie, was going to wash my hair tonight ready for tomorrow but might give it a miss. X
Marie ask some advice from the other threads like Oct or Dec as there’s probably some well experienced cold cap -era there that can help and give you advice. It was the caring for it and special treatment that put me off you get a high ?? From me for giving it a go.
Thanks Aliand, that’s a good idea. I don’t think it’s going to work as it doesn’t fit my head properly but may as well give it a go, especially as they forgot to order me my wig! Xx

Ladies meesh73 on Oct thread is a cold cap queen and will help if you post on Oct thread, she also used some home made hair cream that worked really well and has kept her hair well through chemo??

I’m feeling pretty close to normal today (day 9) after getting some sleeping pills from the doctor so I could actually sleep, what a novelty ??. Might even attempt going to work tomorrow?!
No hair loss yet but I’m gonna get my friend to chop it even shorter tomorrow in preparation ?
Love the “Keep Swimming” motto, we’ll have to change the name of the thread to Finding Dory (Dory can symbolise wellness ?)

Fec, so glad to hear from you ??? here’s big 
And ??? and ???for your treatment today, it’s anazing how much better you will cope with a reduced dose, mine from 2-6 got reduced after I was in casa nhs after my first one fo 6 days and after reduced dose managed se’s much better. I was also having 2 teaspoons of life Mel honey a day too on rounds 2-6 expensive but worth every penny ??shi xx

We will all be thinking of you too today. My dad died last year, he had altzhimers so really we lost the real him before then but it was still very hard. Also comforting to see and hear from the people whose lives he touched. I hope you get a sense of that too.
