oh god forgot to say, had a second scan on my liver today because there was a little lesion on it. Scan confirmed it’s a benign little thing not behaving at all like a tumour…was terrified without realising how much so that’s me still in stage 3 box thank god!!!

Daughter’s spots I think have stopped appearing 198 on last count.
Oh and last night we had our garage burgled… they moved stuff out and left it neatly all over the driveway and stole my husbands £3;500 mountain bike and an axe!! We live down a private road with the security light on the garage which can be seen from out bedroom and I never shut the blinds. Don’t know how they managed it with our two dogs too.
Oh no Starfire, that’s an awful thing to have happen with everything else you’ve got going on! Fingers crossed the big karma fish (a.k.a a great white shark) comes and bites them on the arse!! xx
Gel, sorry your wigs not all you hoped for. Please see what your mcmillan centre at your trust has, they usually have a good range of both human and synthetic wigs of all styles and colours, you will also have help of the lovely kind support of a Mcmillan assistant who will be so kind and respectful to you it will give you much confidence on this step of the journey. Feeling a bit stuffy tonight - hoping I’m not getting a cold! Any thoughts on colds and chemo? If something does come up is it a call to the helpline regardless do you reckon or only if temp spikes?
Crazytimes not sure about a cold, it’s a temp that’s dangerous, I think the cold thing would be more relevant before you get your next dose…emotionally this second ones def been harder. Sending you a big germ free hug xxx

Hi gel, no they don’t mention your Mcmillan centre at your respective trust it’s odd and it was only after I’d phoned up to book my look good feel better day that the assistant in there told me about the range of wigs too, I just got one to see me through chemo and then went and got a posh one the other day after I’d finished chemo as I didn’t want anything reminding me of chemo if that makes sense. Starfire, I am sorry to hear the dregs of society have done that to your family, I hope the police get them but in the meantime get cameras etc installed both externally and internally and some pin hole cameras too. ??shi xx
Aliand, big To you. If you get chance before prom during a week 3 of cycle could you nip daughter to pandora and get her a ring or something to wear for prom as a keepsake too? It sounds like your daughter is a sensitive soul aliand, try and ease things and tell her she’s amazing and like you are doing to keep trying her best ???shi xx

You get about 200-300 of free makeup and one lady on the earlier thread had some jimmy choo perfume in hers too and professional makeup artists give you tips for makeup. Hi Amy, I buzzed to a grade 1 before 2nd fec but the choice is yours darling, you could get short pixie cut you need to do what you are comfortable with, it’s liberating to do it, but it’s also a big step and do allow yourself a ?if you feel like it, then ? and be ???and believe you are going to ?:female_sign:?:female_sign:?:female_sign:Kick ass ???shi xx

Im in bed today as I feel like I’ve been run over by a bus. Think it may be the injections that are doing this to me, only one more to go.
I just wondered on a very intimate SE if anyone had experience of this. (Rabbit.) Basically shooting pains down the vagina which come and go and can range in levels of pain. I am constipated still but have been to the loo and there has been no sexual activity. Any ideas?
Hi Starfire, yes I’ve had this as well. I think as Aliand says it’s probably the constipation or a combination of both, I’m not having the injections though. Yesterday I felt as though my whole body had been placed in a vice. Problem is painkillers make constipation worse so it’s a vicious circle.
I had a chat with my Gp about the constipation and he has recommended fybogel which is not a laxative as such but can be taken to prevent constipation from the day you have chemo so this might be worth a try? You can buy these over the counter but if you’ve got a prescription exemption you can get them from your Go.
I’ve got the 30/500 co-codamol which really helps with the pain and also makes you dopey so you get a good night’s sleep.

Bowels are moving well now but I am day 20 so I’d be in trouble if they weren’t. Fybrogel - yuk. Reminds me of childhood.
Last well day tomorrow before EC number 3 starting to feel the impending doom again

Lying awake at 3am after a nightmare… The nightmare went: Had Chemo, went home, felt really ill, throat tightening and face puffing. Realised that they had given me Docetaxol by mistake. Phoned ambulance trying to explain etc with a face like a chipmunk… The woman who answered the 999 call found it hilarious and put me on hold to the worst on hold music I’ve ever heard… woke up feeling terrible and stressed.

Thank you for all the constipation advice ladies. Will get DH to get some Fybrogel (or whatever it’s called) on his return from the school run… hopefully I will have recovered from my nightmare by then. Oh, shooting pains are back…we should see about getting them added to the official list of SE.

Had my grade 1 done yesterday (I managed to do this from my phone but can’t figure out how to turn it the right way), also had picc line put in yesterday in preparation for today, eek! Still a bit nervous since they’re changing my meds, fingers crossed it’s the right thing to do.
