O flipping heck starfire. I dread peripheral neuropathy. Though I’m sure the onc will be quite used to dealing with it as it’s so common. But I hope it starts to ease. How many more treatments are you due ?

i had two T sessions and whatever neuropathy I had has now pretty much cleared…has taken a few weeks with a few twinges. So hopefully the difference between 2 sessions and 3 won’t be too bad for everyone.

I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow dealdoh , it is a lot of steroids isn’t it ? They gave me mine today ready for T in 3 weeks and I was shocked , as you can see I’m awake at silly o’clock and I haven’t even took my two yet just the ones they put in the IV xx

Dealdoh ??there you go, those and the extra steroid for the t should have you bouncing off the walls nicely to cope with first t ?? once 3rd one is done it’s only really 6 more weeks if you think of it that way and aliand who’s showing everyone how it’s done with the mega 8 will be using her extra 2 weeks to collect any floats up on her way in ???shi xx

Am feeling very very happy…
Just saw the Oncologist who said that the response my tumour has had to FEC has been staggering. Best of all though as I only need to have the scheduled 3 FEC not the 4 they thought before…
So I only have 1 more session to go after Monday’s. I feel like someone just gave me 3 weeks of life back…xxx

Hi Ladies, not sure if I am posting in the right part? Good to read some of your posts on your journey’s so far. I started FEC-T in January also, I’ve had 3 x FEC so far and will be starting the T part on 29th March. Best wishes to you all x

Hi. I had my first T on Wednesday, I was feeling ok just a bit ‘heavy’ but since yesterday morning the bone pain/aches are awful. I’m assuming it’s since I used the injections on Friday night. I am in constant pain, can’t sleep just have to keep moving about. I can’t keep this up for 8 days! ?. Epsom salt bath helped for the time I was in it and am going to get some piriton today. Has anyone got any ideas? Do I have to have 8 injections? Thanks x

Hey Marie, this might be a silly suggestion but have you tried paracetamol or ibuprofen? I found the clariton didn’t do anything but ibuprofen did. Also, check with your doc if you have to take all 8 as it seems it varies around the country - I get given 10 but some others only 5.
