Hi ladies, saw the surgeon, it’s good news all the way, for once! Details on May thread if you are interested, but the main point is that the surgeon is very happy that she got it all out, I’m healing well, and I should go away and have a good Christmas!

Morning ladies, surgery day today. Bit nervous but actually slept pretty well last night. Thanks for the well wishes!
Tatyana, just one night for me all being well.
Went to M&S for a bra fitting this week and the woman was wonderful. Really knew her stuff.
Next thing you know you’ll be out the other side, Missa! I hope you don’t have to wait too long this morning, that’s the worst bit.

Luckily I was first on the list for surgery this morning. Was in theatre just before 9am and came to just gone 11am. I felt great until the painkillers wore off! Chest doesn’t hurt at all but my arm is aching like crazy. Feels like I’ve cracked my funny bone and the resulting pain is reverberating down my arm.
Missa, great to hear from you so soon! Lucky you, first on list. I hope the arm pain recedes, take any painkillers they offer you! I was given four days of gabapentin to take home and it really helped, I carried on with the paracetamol for three or four days but probably didn’t need to, only it’s better to keep on top of it. Have a good sleep if you can! ???

I hope you’re doing well Carole. You must be nearing the end of radio now? Hope that blister cleared up. I’ve had no side effects so far. Just a bit tired of travelling every day. If the traffics bad it can take an hour and a half to get there. The worst thing is seeing the children come in to hospital for chemo. ?
Well the house is finally starting to resemble a home as the plasterers are in and the builders are nearly finished. Kitchen is being delivered on Saturday but we’re nowhere near ready to fit it.
I’ve got painting to look forward to when I get back from radio.
