@kerrylou1 You are awesome. 16 cold caps is great, I did 12 and thought that was hard. For me it was worth it as I kept most of my hair. I bet youāre relieved to have the PICC line out, I had some phantom pain in the arm and was told that was normal and it will settle after a while. Having had it in for over 15 weeks your body thinks itās still there. Hopefully for you it wonāt happen. I couldnāt wait to have a nice soak in the bath
@ldm well done finishing chemo as well. Hopefully you PICC will be out soon
Congratulations @kerrylou1!! I bet it feels great to be rid of chemo and the PICC. And @ldm woohoo!! Free at last!
Weāre all moving onā¦Iām a bit behindā¦next Thursday is my big day.
I did the āSomeone like meā phone call with a lively volunteer and a Penny Brohn course. I think both were useful in talking and seeing other people who have cancer. Otherwise that only happens when Iām in hospitalā¦
Tomorrow Iām going with my older sin (39- dont know when he got so old) to see my parents. They both have dementia and donāt know I have cancer. They will think itās strange I will be wearing a hat. My head looks so strange without much hair. I really donāt want them to know so Iām worried they might guess but as soon as i leave, they will forget.
Life goes on regardless of the Cā¦

Thanks @booklover1! It was a lovely visit. Their carer was wearing a hat too by coincidence so mine wasnāt noticed.
The online course at Penny Brohn waa great. Iāll see what else they offer.
I hope everyone has relaxing weekends despite the storm.
