Hi scardchelle, it is a scary time I am 40 with a young family. In the next few weeks lots of happen and you go through lots of tests and procedures but stay sting and take one step at a time. We are all here to help xx
That’s just not fair! We should both have at least one chance so we can tell the tale xxxx
I know, I was so excited first time I went through scanner, nothing…
We would probably get more recognition if we put chocolate vodka sprouts in our hand luggage xx
Yes ,cos probably illegal to take vegetables covered in chocolate abroad …particularly if injected with vodka …
Hi Jill found your thread. I’m Catherine recently been diagnosed up one minute and down the next. Need like minded people to talk to
Well, you have found most definitely found people who understand Catherine.
Don’t know how I even got out of bed during first few weeks,it does get less overwhelming and scary , promise ,you can even have a laugh( in a black humour sort of way ) with people going through same .
Its the black humour that my lot don’t understand. Other than my brother who is in remission from bowel cancer at the moment.
We did look at the benefits of Prosecco earlier on in the month Fiona… to help with the side effect of Tamoxifen!!!
Wwelcome Catherine…sorry you have to join us but you’re in good company…X guys I have my bro over from Canada so may not post as much while he’s here…Don’t be thinking I’ve abandoned you just because I’m done with treatment today ( hohopefully) always love Lorna x x x
Thanks for the welcome folks. I must say BC aside I do feel for all you mums who have children going off to uni. I had terrible empty nest syndrome. One of them took a degree in Molecular biology she ended up at NICE and commissioned clinical experts to write and publish breast cancer Guidelines how ironic. Cant ask her too much though its too close to home. Just remember You’ve got all that washing to look forward to when they come.home. lots of love x
I’ve been told that 2 glasses of tomato juice a day help with hot flushes ,haven’t tried it yet but I’m going to as I am permanently beet trot colour!!My join pain improved a little but still impacting on what I am able to do.I have spoken to people who’s side effects have settled after 3/4 weeks so I’m hoping that is the case for most of us.Some ladies have also been prescribed a particular anti depressant which is known to help with side effects particularly hot flushes .
Beetroot not beet trot!!!
I wish I could help you spongebob and Jill but I have not go there yet, but I am making notes x I’ve got all the unit stuff to come . Eldest does GCSEs next year and youngest has years to go. I am finding terrible 2s diffict though **bleep**

I didn’t like my son much when he was 2!! I used to drive round a lot so he would go to sleep, had to wrestle him in to the car seat first though,he used to go rigid and refuse to bend in the middle so I couldn’t strap him in!!!
You have good combination there ,terrible 2s and teenager !!!
