Evening all. Just want to send baby pink and JETS lots of virtual hugs. What a truly awful time you’ve both had. There’s no doubt about it, sometimes life is **bleep** and there’s nothing you can do about it. Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people I’ve discovered. One of my less than thoughtful friends told me that it was God’s plan for me to have BC! Now I’m not knocking religion, as it’s a great comfort for a lot of people, but I told her that any God who visited cancer on his ‘children’ wan’t one I wanted any contact with ! I might say that she is one ‘friend’ who has clearly got bored with my journey and doesn’t keep in touch, every cloud etc. The only probably useless thing I can say Is what someone said to me when I was very low and feeling almost suicidal ‘you have two choices, give up or fight on’. It’s that simple’ He was right of course, it is that simple but incredibly hard at times. For various reasons, support from my family (other than my husband and daughter) has been lacking and I have found it very upsetting. Virtually complete strangers have been more supportive and very kind. Sorry, having a bit of a difficult day, apologies for the rather strange tone of my post! On a lighter side ?, Barry I’m also a very well endowed lady, H cup, if you know what I mean and I have finally managed to find a super comfy sports bra in my size, which I wear day and night. It’s soft and very supportive, you can buy it from Amazon and it’s not expensive. I have 3 of them now, washes fine in the machine. Nikki might find it very comfy too. Sounds like you need a large bag of mini cheddars,Galaxy and some vodka Francine to cheer you up .They are all good for you ,I’m nearing the end of my research and I’m convinced.You will see it in the British Medical Journal soon…A bit alarmed as both my boobs now look like they have the pox , how can the radiation be affecting both of them?Showed it to Doc today and she have me some cream but a bit alarming that it continues to spread .
Hope you feel better today Amanda, I had mini meltdowns quite a lot in the beginning ,triggered by something as simple as not being able to find what I wanted in supermarket .Still have them but not as often,sometimes the enormousness of what is happening to you just hits you.It is very true that only people who this is happening to can really understand,it is quite a lonely illness in that respect.
Morning ladies. I hope today is better for a couple of you who had bad days yesterday. We have family visits today n tomorrow. I hope people continue this when Nikki has to go through chemo x
I made turmeric and broccoli soup today, blended it didn’t look great but tasted pretty good

Well we might have a take away tonight, we’ve been pretty good since the op so is a treat. Hmmm Nikki is a K in normal bra. None in that size

Like the name of the bra Francine “shock absorber”,could certain have done with a few of them over the last few months !!!
That’s what I had Amanda,you could bath and shower in them!!!They told me to take them off after 2 days and sterile strips after a week peeling them off yourself was a bit scary!!! My boob still has chicken pox, trying not to itch , 5 sessions to go and then I’m cooked!!!Supposed to continue to get worse for 2 weeks after you finish though!!!
Curry and tandoori mixed grill for me and fish n chips for Nikki tonight. I’ve even let her have a diet coke! x

It’s good to hear nikki I’ve had my first FECT and I’m doing so much better than I thought I would just hope the rest of it goes aswell as the first xxx
