Hi Girls - Just heard from Kate and was so concerned that I hadn’t heard all day…
I am going to quote her so that you all get the complete picture:
News not good. Breathing improved a little but still maximum dose of oxygen so machine at home couldn’t cope. They are not expecting much improvement but hope to get me well enought to send home first or go to hospice to try to go home. They don’t think I will be well ever to have chemo again. Just hope we can make it to Christmas…Love to all Katex…
I know we are all rooting for Kate to find the strength to pull through…

I keep feeling I want to add to this thread and then find myself not doing so as I am relatively new to this site and we have only occasionally posted on the same thread. However since I read last night that you were ill you have been in my thoughts. I don’t know why but I woke in the small hours today thinking of you and rushed downstairs at 5am to see if there was any news. I know only a teeny bit of your story but, maybe its because we share the same name, or maybe its because you have inspired such love from other users that I feel I want to reach out, but whatever the reason I just want to add my love, prayers and wishes for you to make a speedy recovery.
