Hi Ca va,
Yes,you’re welcome to come.We are all Liverpool(or ex Liverpool) ladies, some of which have met before. We have all met through this forum. We haven’t picked a place to go yet but will do so nearer the time.It will be very laid back and it doesn’t matter that you don’t know anyone as we all feel like we do from posting on here.
Where are you from?
Alli.
Hi Alli.
Thank you for your kind and welcoming reply.
I live iin Norway and I might be coming to the UK to attend my son’s Graduation. I don’t know for sure yet, it depends on a few things which are out of my hands. I’ll have made a decision in a couple of weeks.
Thanks again.
Love, Ca-va
Hi Ca va …it would be great for you to come and join us …I have only met some of the ladies once as I no longer live in Liverpool and just chatted on the forum after diagnosis last October and was nervous at first but didnt need to be had a lovely day with some lovely people do hope you can make it

Ca va and any others wanting to meet for the first time. Please don’t be nervous or feel you are intruding. As a group, we have only met once. Some have met each other on a 1 to one basis, and others who couldn’t meet last time will not have met us either.
We all have BC in commom, visit this site, and have a Liverpool connection ( born there, work there, live there or just a fan of there!) If you are new to the oct meeting you will be greeted with kindness and will be most welcome. A venue will be decided nearer the date but one definate is it will include lunch!

Hi Girls
In 11 minutes time I will be 50! Not sure why but needed to tell someone! Think OH has as usual totally ignored the fact. If he has, I’ll be off tomorrow, not having the same response as my 40th when he didn’t even buy me a card.
I’m a bit tipsy, been drinking dirty wine!

Hi Irene how s the Birthday ???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR IRENE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
Just found this in time before day is over. Hope you have had a lovely lovely day and OH remembered.
Try and have a phone convo next week.
Hugs Rx
Thankyou girlies, yes I had a good day, not perfect, but when do we ever get perfection! OH remembered and wished me happy birthday but had not got me a card! He told me he has arranged something for me but we need good weather for it so no gift either. Then he asked me if I would like to go out for a Greek meal. When I said yes, he started phoning for a table! Talk about being disorganised.
Hense the lack of perfection. We did go out though had a snack type lunch then went rowing on a lake which was really enjoyable. Then in the evening he managed to get a table at one of my favourite places to eat which was great.
Afterwards we sang songs together and went to bed at 3am. We have had a rough few days leading up to my birthday and even on the day he had a grumpy face on him for most of it, but what time we did spend together was quality, non-domestic time and we both agreed we should do more of this. Not saying all in the garden is rosy, but we are def getting on better (for now at least)
I am not expecting this to last but at least for now it’s positive.
Back in work tomorrow after 6 wks hols (I’m a teacher). Dreading it as because of the wedding arrangements, I didn’t get much prep done so the next few days will be manic!
Love Irene
