Mon 1st or Tues 2nd. Hopefully it’ll be quieter than a Fri or Sat but doubt it in December.

I can’t do tuesdays and mons are also difficult. Fri’s are better for me. But actually I don’t think I can make dec anyway as down this coming sat/sun for a family do, and other stuff on in later weeks, so please don’t arrange around me!

Sorry if this disappoints folk but i think an after christmas meet up is going to be more do-able.
Maybe aim for middle of Jan and a Saturday.
Personally i have taken on too much with courses and voluntary work for the CAB and one day paid work for the agency, with hosp appts and another trip away for a few days in Dec i feel i will meet myself coming back.
I decided to keep myself busy and my mind off my health but not sure its the best option as i am so worn out.
It is lovely though when we keep in touch via this thread.

Ok all I know I mentioned before Xmas but as its creeping up rapidly Jan will prob be the better option so I say early Jan .too…Saturday is best for me as I have a hectic start in the new year with work but will deffo make this one after missing the last …looking forwrad to meeting the newbies and all …will feel loike the new girl haha so I will be brave and pick Saturdays 10 or 17 hows that sound …cafe rouge or shall we throw caution to the wind and go somewhere else ???

I will be in Liverpool on 18th and 19th dec and may be able to meet for lunch. My friend says the Adelphi do a sort of carvery mon to fri for about £4 anyone interested?
Also, for those of you who met Buzzylizzie at our first meet, you may wish to know shes been quite poorly. I saw her at the weekend and hope to keep intouch with her if you want to pass any messages on to her through me thats ok. As far as I know she isn’t coming on here anymore but you could maybe try PM her.

I will be in Liverpool on the 18th and 19th but have 2 action packed days so may not be able to meet up as first thought. If any of you are in town on either of those 2 days I may be able to meet for a quick drink and/or a bite but can’t arrange yet, sorry.
Spoke to Liz at weekend and sent her all your regards. She was very grateful. She said she wouldn’t mind me telling you all she has lost her sight, and for that reason alone, she won’t be visiting the site agin. I did offer to sit with her and read for her but she wasn’t too bothered, bigger things to think about me thinks.
She is inspirational, and has such a wonderful support network around her, and a lovely lovely family, which is probably partly down to her own sweet nature.
I may see her on those dates in Dec so if you want to pass on any messages please do and I will print them off and read them for her.

That is such awful awful news Irene thanks for sharing it.
I know some on here are not religious but i am, so will pray for her. You are so right she has a beautiful nature so gentle. I will never understand suffering and often ask WHY.
I definately think we should keep to a Jan meet up. Its just too busy for us and in town in Dec.
I have so many friends who are ill just now, and want to spend time with them. Seems hard with christmas coming up and everyone ‘jolly’ to join in when folk are ill. However my family would want it to be a happy time.
