Today is the 2nd aniversary of my mastectomy op. I’m still here and feeling good in the main so something to celebrate!

dox rang yesterday with my test results …all ok .had every blood test under the sun and more!!! …still cant get to the bottom of the bone pain so off to the Royal Ortho Hosp in November …had MRI and some dodgyness round my discs but he doesnt think "malignancy spread ! as he so eloquently put it … so will just hobble around like the old bird that I am … ok once I get going !!! Made my mind up to enjoy my life and not spend it worrying about this bloody BC .so thanx to all you Liverpool Crew for being there listening to my moaning !!! will get you all a bevvy in when we meet up next time …hope its sooner rather than later !!!

Hope everyone is O.K. I am ploughing my way through rads at the moment, all seems to be going well.
I have also had a home visit from my lymphoedema nurse which I was very impressed with, she has sorted me out with 3 sleeves, it was more severe than I thought, but I am hoping that I am as lucky as bubbly and Irene and it improves!!
Great news Maz!!!, I haven`t met you but feel I know you.

It was gonna be after christmas, but maybe nice to have a festive meet up, just that i wondered if people would be busy and also Sat Dec are horrible in town.

Just got back from Anglesey last night after snuggling down caravan for the winter. Had a fantastic summer, being totally independent and driving myself up and down the M56 and A55, walking the dog etc. I can’t believe how well I’ve been after the last few years - and I’m touching wood all over the place as I’m saying that.
Went back to Christie’s a fortnight ago and they’re sending me for an ultrasound on my liver. The GGA (I think that’s what it is) is off the scale. Hope it’s all to do with the g’n’ts and not further spread, in which case it can easily be remedied. I’ve more than halved the intake since I had that news. Never thought I could do it but there you are. Still haven’t received the appointment so it’s anyone’s guess when that’ll arrive.
Yes, I’m all for meeting up again. I could have done with at least one more head and two more tongues at the last meet hahaha.
Good luck all with treatment. Toronto, I’m impressed the lympho nurse came out to you!!! How did you wangle that one?? Reminds me, I must make an appointment as my arm feels fit to burst.
