Losing my marbles waiting

Thanks naughty_boob I had my appointment this morning and I have more of a plan now so it’s a huge relief. It’s been a very long process. Hugs back :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Dear Smiler4,

I’m so pleased you have managed to get a plan together at long last hopefully things will get better very soon.

I was thinking you are outside London as things seems to be a bit slower. ?

Wishing you well, going forward fingers crossed for you, please let us know how you are getting along.

Happiness ahead, you really do deserve it.

Sorry you have had a long wait. I found out it doesn’t matter medically about waits as cancers don’t work to a timetable. Docs do and have targets to meet. From your perspective you are further on now but I find you learn to deal with anxiety. I have found keeping busy helps as does distraction and friendship.

I am now part of a recovery group of women who had surgery a while back. It’s on WhatsApp and all the women live quite close to me. We give each other tips on survival and benefits.

We get free prescriptions and a few other concessions! (In the UK that is). We are also covered by disability at work laws. I claim absolutely everything as a lot of benefits out there stay out there because people feel they shouldn’t get them. Why not? I don’t consider I am a scrounger. I am a survivor of a nasty illness.
